Beyond the Pale was preempted on June 28 for WBAI's Gay Pride coverage. We contributed segments on Israel's branding campaign targeting the lesbian and gay community and efforts by B'nai Brith in Toronto to ban Queers Against Israeli Apartheid from that city's gay pride parade.

    Tim McCaskell is a founder of Queers Against Israeli Apartheid  in Toronto.  An anti-racist activist for decades, he was a member of the Simon Nkoli Anti-apartheid Committee, which did queer solidarity with anti-apartheid struggles in the 1980s.

    Beyond the Pale talks with activist Tim McCaskell about the efforts of B'nai Brith and other right-wing supporters of Israel to get Queers Against Israeli Apartheid banned from Toronto's Gay Pride Parade.  (They failed!!)
