    The Boycott Divestment Sanctions movement, which aims to pressure Israel into abiding by international law, got a boost this month when the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) voted to boycott goods made in Israeli settlements--but lost by two votes on a measure that would have the Church divest from companies that profit from the occupation.
