 The trailer for an incendiary anti-Muslim film is blamed for anti-American riots throughout the Muslim world.  What do we know about its origins?  Its distribution? And is it really the cause of the protests?

The Chicago teachers’ strike has now been settled.  Is it a victory for the union?  For Mayor Rahm Emanuel?  And what does the strike and settlement portend for the future of public education reform? 

Israeli historian, journalist and blogger, Gershom Gorenberg weighs in on Romney’s secretly filmed remarks about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

    The Chicago teachers' strike--the first in 25 years in that city--has been settled.  For some, it's a great victory for the teachers' union and its leader, Karen Lewis, for other's the victory belongs to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.  To help us sort out what the strike means for public education in Chicago and for both the future of public education and the labor movement in the U.S., we talk with Diane Ravitch and David Moberg.
